The meeting was held in the office of Mr. Hashim Zadi MD KW&SB office on 10 July 2017. besides the President Mr. Sharfuddin Memon, Vice President Mr. Zahid Iqbal, Vice President Mrs. Tahira Athar Naseem, Hon. General Secretary Mr. Najeeb Wali, Hon. Treasurer Capt Farooq Dawood Herekar, were present in the meeting. The meeting lasted for one and a half hour. The MD KW&SB briefed DSRA Committee about the water problem in DHA, he said that Five to Six million gallon of water is bing provided to DHA / CBC daily where as the actual requirement as per the understanding is much more.
The President DSRA said that at lest eight million galleon need to be provided daily MD said that in-spite of shutting down of unauthorized water High Darin the water supply could not be brought to the required level. The other reason that he give for the shortage of water was the regular disruption in power supply by Karachi Electric. He however hoped that with the increased water supply the level of water being supply to DHA will increased to seven million gallon per day.
